The time came...
I was very fortunate to get the "car of my dreams" 4 years ago. It was a 1990 Toyota Corolla 4x4 Wagon. Perfect for hauling gear, driving "out back" camping etc... This week that car finally met its demise in the form of a head gasket. With 355,000kms - I figured it was about time for something else. I did some checking around and found this little beauty. 2004 Toyota Echo Sedan. It might not be a 4x4, and I might not be able to fit as much gear as I had before, but this is what I love about it: it's red (I know silver is in, but I really wanted something with some colour to it), it's going to be very fuel-efficient (a nessecesity in our world today), it has less then 200,000kms on it (a first for me I think), it's fully loaded, and it is going to meet my needs. It doesn't meet all my wants, however I was okay giving those up to gain what I think to be important.
