Rememberance Day

I took in the Remberance Day service at the Muliplex today. It was quite an emotional service for me, especially when the pipe band entered the rink. Since my grandfather died a few weeks ago, and was a WW2 vet, I was definatly thinking a lot about him today. My only regret is that I never really got to talk to him about it when he was alive.

It's very important to remeber all those who put their lives on the line, so that we could enjoy the freedom we have today. Most of them were just young guys who dropped everything to fight. I just can't imagine what that would have been like. I wonder if courage like that is still around today? I think I'd like just a little bit of that in my life.
