We had our annual APC Family Christmas program last night. A great night overall, the children sang and recited their lines well, the teens made us laugh, and there were some terrific solos. My role was to lead everybody in Christmas Carols ... no problem. Except, I chose to sing O Holy Night, one of my favourite songs - but not the easiest one to sing or play. So I had some words and chords in front of me, and got through the first verse and chorus with no problems. Onto the second verse ... I can't read the sheet in front of my that well, and when I peek up at the words on the screen, I realize that they're not on the 2nd verse, but on the 3rd! So I venture onward, when, as I feared, I got the mental picture of the South Park version of O Holy Night - and I get the giggles. I did everything I could to get control and finish the song, which I barely managed, and quickly moved onto the next carol! I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to sing that song without laughing :)
HAHAHAHAHA!! Oh wow Jesse, I can just picture it. I wish we had been there for that! Matt would have broke out in the Cartman version to help you out. I will NEVER hear that song the same either. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
You did a great job explaining that story. I have been laughing for days about it.
We are going to have a TON of fun together.

Good blog! There are a few songs sung by Cartman that I will never hear the same way. In the Ghetto comes to mind...
